I have used Nik's plug-ins now for a few years and cannot recommend them enough. All of my monochrome conversions are courtesy of Silver Efex Pro 2. I also make use of all the other fantastic plug-ins that can be found in the collection. If you haven't tried the collection before you can give a it a test drive via the 15 day trial.
